Educations:

In 1978 he finished the PM School No. 239, his research paper “About the Hungarian method for the transport problem solving” was awarded the first prize as the best scientific works of Leningrad pupils for year 1978.
In 1983 Oleg Granichin graduated from the faculty of mathematics and mechanics of Leningrad University, and in 1985 — postgraduate course of that faculty.
In October 17, 1985 he has got PhD at Leningrad State University for his thesis “Minimax optimal and adaptive control of discrete objects”.
In December 27, 2001 he defended at IPC RAS(Moscow) the doctor thesis “Randomized Algorithms of an Estimation and Optimization Under Arbitrary Noises“.

In May 26, 2006 he was awarded the title of Professor.
