Following the successful SIGMOD/PODS model, EDBT and ICDT will be held annually as joint conferences, beginning in 2009. Saint-Petersburg, one on the most beautiful cities in the world, was founded 3 centuries ago to improve economical, scientific, and cultural exchange between Europe and Russia. The city is well known for its architectural ensembles created by the famous European and Russian architects. The conference is organized by the "Facultet" (School) for Mathematics and Mechanics of the University of Saint-Petersburg. | ||
